Staff were very accommodating during our stay.
We experienced significant noise from the street outside our room, which made it hard to sleep. Additionally, the dining experience was disappointing. the food was not up to par with what we expected. Lastly, it was frustrating that we were charged for purified water, and the amenities seemed outdated and in need of renovations.

Perfect choice for families
Our room had a fine view of the river which was calming after a day of hiking. The staff here went above and beyond when they prepared a special kids menu just for our little ones, they actually cared. That kind of service you can’t buy.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but honestly worth it for the quality we got.

Our family had an amazing experience exploring the Inca citadel, complete with a guide and an explorer kit for the kids. The staff went above and beyond, especially the friendly porter and the lovely lady at the spa who made our visit extra special.
My wife says that the hotel can improve by providing better late check-out options for families.

The hospitality here is unmatched, with an attentive staff that helped us navigate ticket purchases for the local attractions. The homemade soups in the restaurant were a standout, showcasing authentic flavors. While the location is perfect, I found the common areas could benefit from more seating options for relaxation. The wait for service at the bar on our last day was longer than expected, slightly detracting from an otherwise wonderful experience.

The Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel's décor beautifully blends modern elements with traditional Andean motifs, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The accessible pathways and comfortable seating areas made it easy for me to navigate without any hassle.

The room was pretty comfy, but we faced some noise from the train nearby, especially since we had to keep the window open. It was a standard room but had a nice bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. The views were nice from the upper floors, and we appreciated the recently renovated decor. Overall, it was decent, but the price felt a bit steep for what we got, especially with all the train noise at night.

missingWrote a review on May 24hot tubstunning gardenslong drink wait
The time we spent here was unforgettable, especially with the fantastic hot tub and relaxing massages we enjoyed after a day at Machu Picchu. The gardens were stunning and a great place to unwind too. If I'm being picky, the wait for drinks at the bar could be shorter, but it didn't take away from the overall experience! 😊
